Get ready to be the best poolside bartender in town.

Ah, sweet summertime. Hot weather is here to stay and sitting in front of my air conditioner to quell the non-stop sweating has officially become a daily activity. But while I’m crying in front of the cold-air box, there’s really only one thing I want to be drinking. Sorry, IPAs and your full-bodied reds, it is officially fruity cocktail szn!

What’s more refreshing than fruit and alcohol? Go ahead, I dare you to name something (besides a swimming pool cannonball). Besides being delicious, the best part about the fruity cocktail season is that you likely have all of the ingredients stocked away in your kitchen. When the urge hits you to make a grapefruit negroni or a raspberry cosmo, odds are you you can just draaank.

Now that you’re 100000 percent inspired, here are 18 fruity cocktail recipes to make sitting-in-front-of-the-AC way more fun.

1. Grapefruit Negroni

Once you’ve tried the grapefruit version of this classic cocktail, you may never go back to the OG. It’s the perfect combo of acid, gin flaves, and sweet Campari. Make it immediately and thank us later.

2. Watermelon Cooler

TASTEOFHOME.COM

This might be one of the easiest and most refreshing fruity drinks around. With just watermelon, lemon juice, ice, and your choice of booze, you can be drinking this poolside in no time. Add some muddled mint or try a jalapeño in there if you’re looking to spice it up.

3. Passion Fruit Martini

My guess is that you’re not eating nearly as much passion fruit as you should be, and we must change that immediately. Put passion fruit in ANYTHING and it will make it taste amazing, but pair it with some vodka and liqueur and you’ve got a low-key addicting combo.

4. White Peach Julep

If you’re a fan of peaches, then there’s no doubt you’ll love this. Take the traditional flavors of a mint julep and mix them with white peaches for a twist on the Kentucky Derby classic.

5. Very Pink Raspberry Cosmopolitan

I know you may think that there’s nothing better than the flavors of a classic cosmo, but I implore you to give your fave an upgrade with a very berry twist. This raspberry recipe is e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.

6. Blackberry Gin & Tonic

Get your highball on blackberry-style with this gin and tonic recipe. All you need are blackberries, gin, tonic, lime, and simple syrup to create this drink. If you’ve been saving that really nice gin for a special occasion, here’s your excuse to pull it out of the cabinet.

7. Blood Orange Old Fashioned

If your idea of a fruity cocktail is a whole lot of whiskey with a slight addition of some citrus, then this is the cocktail for you. The smokiness of the whiskey will be the main flavor point in this old-fashioned, but the blood orange will be a nice kick of acidity that will make the drink much lighter for a hot day.

8. Kiwi Collins

Can we all agree that kiwi is SUCH an underrated fruit? Whenever you make a grocery list, you rarely see kiwi up in there. Blasphemy! Let’s give kiwi the attention she deserves and mix her with some alcohol for an A+ Tom Collins. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

9. Pineapple Coconut Champagne Cocktails

Again with the gorgeous drinks. (I need to have a party pronto.) Also, strawberries and pomegranate in a mojito? Done and done.

11. Lightened-Up Piña Colada

Piña coladas are like the original fruity drink, right? Okay, that might not be history, but who cares, they should be if they’re not.

12. Strawberry Basil Sorbet Bellini

COUNTRYCLEAVER.COM

Sorbet + strawberry + basil + bellini = fruity drink heaven. You’re going to need a few more kitchen tools to make this drink happen, but believe me when I tell you it’s worth it. How could sorbet in a cocktail be anything but amazing?

13. Spiked Blackberry Vanilla Lemonade

Lemonade wants to be a cocktail. Just go with it. And add some vanilla in there while you’re at it. Go mix up that drink and thank me later.

14. Chipotle Grapefruit Margaritas

Looking for a serious kick to add to your plain old margs? May I suggest, the chipotle? The smokiness of the chipotle juice blended with the sweetness of the grapefruit makes a margarita that will rival that of your favorite Mexican restaurant. But please, if you can’t take the heat, then maybe opt for a different marg…

15. Summer Fruit Sangria

THESPRUCEEATS.COM

Ah, sangria: the delicious pitcher of fun. Take literally ANY fruits you have on hand and dump them in a pitcher with your favorite white wine (and a couple of other ingredients to make it *chef’s kisses*) and you’ve got yourself a summer sangria. While you can put technically any fruit in there, we recommend a variety of berries, citrus, and peaches for the ultimate summer experience.

16. Meyer Lemon Rosemary Gin Fizz

Food, Drink, Lemonade, Non-alcoholic beverage, Ingredient, Cocktail garnish, Fizz, Alcoholic beverage, Juice, Lemon-lime,
INSPIREDTASTE.NET

You can NEVER go wrong with lemon and some fizz in a drink, and when you add rosemary to the party, it’ll give that drink the herbaceous flavor you didn’t know you needed in a cocktail. Hot tip: hit that rosemary with a little bit of fire. The heat will release some much-needed oils from the herb and will make it way more aromatic.

17. Frost Bite

Skip the winter weather, stay inside, and enjoy your frostbite poured from an ice-cold shaker. Although it sounds more suitable for cold weather, the frost bite is exactly what you want to be sipping on in the scorching hot heat.

18. Bloodhound Cocktail

Drink, Classic cocktail, Alcoholic beverage, Cocktail, Distilled beverage, Corpse reviver, Aviation, Martini glass, Non-alcoholic beverage, Champagne cocktail,

With just a bit of fruit mixed in with a lot of alcohol, the Bloodhound is a good way to sneak in that fruit without being overpowered by the flavor.
