FIRST TEASER TRAILER FOR ‘MALEFICENT: MISTRESS OF EVIL’ HAS BEEN RELEASED

The new trailer sees Angelina Jolie go up against Michelle Pfeiffer

The first teaser trailer for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil has been released and it appears the Disney villain is embracing her darker side.

After the Sleeping Beauty Disney spin-off was released back in 2014 – starring Angelina Jolie as the titular character – everyone was eagerly anticipating a sequel.

And now, the first look at the upcoming sequel has been released and we see Jolie reprising her role as the iconic Disney villain and going head-to-head against Michelle Pfeiffer.

Although the first film did not stick to the traditional take on the villain, we hope to see Jolie taking on a darker role in the new film and judging by the trailer, it appears she is.
