Schwarzenegger Raps in Motivational Music Video That Will Get You Pumped Up

Arnold Schwarzenegger can now add rapper to his lengthy resume. The action star appears on Austrian musician Andreas Gabalier’s latest single, “Pump it Up.” It’s definitely not a cover of Elvis Costello’s 1978 single of the same name, though that could have been good too. Instead, it’s a new original motivational song that goes into Schwarzenegger’s life and career from body builder to worldwide action superstar and even the governor of California. Schwarzenegger’s career is pretty amazing to think about and now he’s letting us all know that we can also do what he has done if we remain positive.

When examining Arnold Schwarzenegger’s flow on “Pump it Up,” he really doesn’t have one as he delivers lines like, “Hey, I’m Arnold Schwarzenegger and listen carefully,” which is comparable to Jay-Z’s lazy verse on Kanye West’s “Monster,” also featuring Nicki Minaj. “Dig deep down and ask yourself, who do you want to be. Not what, but who – if you believe success will come to you, work like hell, trust yourself and all your dreams come true,” raps Schwarzenegger. When compared to some mumble rappers of today, Arnold actually does a pretty decent job, though his flow is a bit questionable.

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t going to get featured on any hot hip hop singles in the near future, but one has to give him props for giving it a whirl and keeping everything positive. The actor is out to let the world know that anybody can be successful with the right mind set and work ethic. In a recent impromptu Reddit AMA, the actor gave out some pretty sound advice when a fan asked what he should do for the rest of his life. Schwarzenegger had this to say.

“Find your vision. Whatever that is. If you don’t have a vision of where you want to be, every day feels like work. When you can see where you want to be, work becomes a joy. Not a chore.”

Terminator: Dark Fate is on the way, so Arnold Schwarzenegger has been in the news quite a bit lately. The actor returns as an iconic T-800 in the long-awaited sequel, which also brings back Linda Hamilton and James Cameron as a producer. Arnold is clearly doing much better after his recent heart surgery and he’s getting around better than people half of his age while still staying positive.

Speaking of positivity, Arnold Schwarzenegger was recently in South Africa where he was attacked from behind by a man who drop-kicked him out of nowhere. Schwarzenegger brushed the incident off as nothing and went about his business, hardly giving it a second thought. While he might not be the most gifted rapper of all time, he is good at spreading his positivity to the world. You can check out some of his rhyming skills below, thanks to Andreas Gabalier’s YouTube channel.
